GREAT FRIENDS
What could be better than having some of our best friends to open the concert season. John Giordano has guest conducted our last six season openers, mentored our music director, and become close to many of us. Dr. Kirsten Yon is teacher of Violin at Texas Tech and plays for our orchestra whenever possible. Add our other great friends, Strauss, Mendelssohn, Tchaikovsky and Schubert, and we’ll surely have Times to Remember.
Featuring:

John Giordano, guest conductor
Dr. Kirsten Yon, violin
Strauss: Overture to Die Fledermaus
Mendelssohn: Violin Concerto in e minor
Tchaikovsky: Romeo & Juliet Fantasy Overture
